Not all premises can be serviced as ADSL technology is limited by distance from your exchange, and not all premises will receive full-speed services due to factors such as the distance from the telephone exchange, and quality of your physical telephone line.
These Exetel Premium Broadband services are provided using either the APPT or the Optus Mobile backhaul services from your local exchange to our closest capital city Point Of Interconnect. While we can’t provide any ‘guarantees’ of service via the Optus or AAPT backhaul networks to our points of presence we can guarantee that your service will suffer no contention issues once it reaches the parts of the network we can control.
On the, real time, graph below you will see that there is no contention on the Exetel network that receives and sends your data from your residence to and from your selected destinations. You might think that every ISP provides this level of connectivity provisioning – and you may be right. However only Exetel ensures that you can be certain of that by providing you with the same access to our network control reports as our own engineers do – and we always have done since we started in business in January 2004.

**Exetel are able to provide quality voice services to all of our customers, and no customers should be disadvantaged by the behaviour of others. We provide this free call packaged offer for residential customers only in good faith. Under our Acceptable User Policy, if you exceed 9,000 minutes per month, Exetel will request that you reduce your usage. Persistent breaches of our Acceptable User Policy in this regard may result in Exetel terminating your service.
Due to changes in the wholesale price, we no longer offer a Naked ADSL2 service. However, with our low line rental, we are confident that these full service ADSl2 plans will still be a better value than the Naked ADSL services fromn our competitors. Did you know that even a Naked ADSL service still has a line rental component? However, this is usually hidden from you, so you are led to believe that there is none. The "hidden line rental" is required because you still require a working copper phone line, and there are of course maintenance costs etc for that service. It is simply hobbled and calls are prevented from being used on it. By offering a full service ADSL2 product, we can offer a low priced service, whilst still keeping a high quality and at the same time allowing you to make normal telephone calls - with all the advantages that has.
# included in this plan is 9,000 minuted worth of FREE calls. Calls included in this 3,000 minutes are National Calls, Local Calls and Calls to Optus Mobiles.
